Jared Andrews from Microwave Miracles, Meat Flowers and Elephants in Mud

These are the albums I listened to the most in 2016. Not all of them actually came out in 2016 but most of them did.

1. Microwave Miracles-The World Is A Trash Can

“The most important album of the year, hands down, and quite possibly the most important album in the history of recorded music.”

2. Kevin Hambrick-Mox Nix

“Every riff and every hook is gold. I probably listened to this album from start to finish close to 100 times this year.”

3. Lord3 Fredd33-Dead Man’s View

“This album takes me to a very strange corner of my brain and I am very comfortable there.”

4. Childish Gambino-Awaken, My Love!

“I heard someone say this album sucked and it instantly made me hate that person.”

5. Dani House-Nothing Left To Fear But Myself

“Dani House has made great albums since the beginning of time and this album is no exception. Sounds like it was recorded on a lonely, beautiful planet on a keyboard that fell from a passing spaceship. The boi has done it again.”

6. Dr. Dog-Abandoned Mansion

“A+. Top notch. Top gear. Top gun.”

7. Jimmy Whispers-Summer In Pain

“I think this one came out in 2015 but I discovered it this year and listened to it a million times. For fans of love songs and love in general.”

8. Oasis-Definitely Maybe

“I listened to a lot of Oasis in 2016.”

9. The Fatty Acids-Bolero

“A few years old, but a gd classic from start to finish. Cyber tribal synth pop rock n’ roll with riffs and melodies that get stuck in your brain and chill there forevz.”

10. White Reaper-White Reaper Does It Again

“Mega catchy power pop / punk with more keyboard riffs than guitar riffs. Cool as heck. Yes.”
